website / itinerary

kc nOna doesn’t only put its rehearsal spaces at the disposal of the biennial, but is also the partner organiser of the side festival Ciné Contour. With Ciné Lundi kc nOna already developed the habit of inviting a guest programmer on Mondays to present a very personal film programme. S/he is given the chance to freewheel audiovisually. During the 2nd biennial those usual film Mondays are filled in by the participating artists.

Feature films will be shown by Chantal Akerman, James Fotopoulos and Ana Poliak. Anouk De Clercq, Manon De Boer and Gülsün Karamustafa compose their own programme with films which are inspiring to them. That way the complexity of their work is further explored; the visitors of the biennial get the chance to look at the work of these artists from another point of view, in a cinema setting.
