| Lamot-beer was once
a well-known trademark but in the eighties Lamot disappeared of the map
and so did the brewery in 1995. Now, Lamot has had a change of use. The
whole Lamot site has been completely rebuilt, mainly as the congress and
heritage centre LamotTM. The site was crowned with the ‘At home in
the city’-prize for the re-integration of lost parts of the city.
In 2006, the site will also be connected to the Vismarkt by a pedestrian
