This gothic building in white sandstone was erected in two phases, in the thirteenth and fourteenth century. After serving as the headquarters of the town council and as a town archive, it is now a part of the chain of museums in Mechelen, together with the Hof van Busleyden and the Brusselsepoort. | |||||||||
