The former Refuge House of the abbey of Tongerlo was a pied-à-terre for travelling Premonstratensian monks, built in the fifteenth century and restored in 1976-79. It is now the home of the Royal Manufactory of Tapestry De Wit, a world-famous company that restores and cleans old tapestries. | |||||||||
